A web application crosses browsers, devices, networks, third-party code and changing demand. Quality is the consistency of the user�s outcome across those conditions. Accessibility and reliability meet in error recovery. WCAG 2.2 supports perceivable, operable and understandable interaction, but conformance is a baseline rather than a complete experience. Keyboard and assistive-technology tests, preserved input, clear validation and status messages reduce exclusion. Timeouts and partial outages should leave an intelligible state and next step.
Operate around journeys, not infrastructure averages. Measure task completion, abandonment, real-user latency, accessibility defects, security control failures, transaction correctness and recovery time by cohort. Test browsers and devices by use and risk. A durable web application keeps its promises as conditions change and gives teams evidence to improve without trading speed for control.
